It's actually crazy that it took until 2021 for something this good to be licensed for an official English version. It started publishing in Japan in 2007, which is why everyone in the story is using flip-phones. And of course Denpa is moving at a snail's pace. It took two years to publish the first volume in 2023, then they just barely released Volume 4 in Septemer 2025. Volume 3 was in February of 2025. Almost 8 months between translated volumes for source volumes that are completed (and have been completed and available in Japan for over a decade) is crazy slow. That said, apparently this manga isn't even finished - Chica is just taking her sweet-ass time. It took her 2 years to get volume 18 out. Roughly 1 chapter every 2 months. At 10-15 pages per chapter, that's glacial. edit: oh fuck, I just realized she's 60 as of August 30th. I knew she was older because Honey & Clover started in 2000, but I didn't realize she started that when she was already 35 and now she's nearing-retirement old. No wonder she's taking her time. Hopefully this doesn't turn into another Berserk situation :( I hope she's not slowing down because of failing health or anything like that.
