finally the high res version
underrated masterpiece
Who cares what rated. I'll rate the show I watch myself!
NUDES! WE *NEED* nudes !!
@Jeanberry I feel you. This anime is very good, but in the end it’s just another overrated shonen anime where people praise so much because of beautiful animations without looking at the flaws. Also, the high amount of fanservice make it almost unbearable to watch, the jokes become unfunny after a few times, and the backstory of the side character when it’s about to die from the infamous episode 7, while sad, it is forced.
@Mysticus I rewatched episode 7 for like, the fourth time in my life, just because of your comment. I can't believe you also watched that masterpiece of storytelling and went away thinking, "man that shit felt forced."
@smilelele What “masterpiece of storytelling”? Excuuuuuse me for being cynic, but how am I supposed to feel very sad at the single mother character that I barely know getting heavily killed by the two random yakuza guys and then kidnapping the little girl? That part really screams emotional manipulation.
Just goes to show how different people can have different sensibilities, but when so many have been moved by this episode alone, I don't think it's unreasonable to call it a masterpiece *of storytelling*. From the visuals, to the directing, the voice acting and the choice of music, everything blended wonderfully into a very emotional moment. On the contrary, I think it was meticulously crafted to not feel forced. Despite the content of this episode not going nearly as hard in the manga, they still managed to create something special. Dandadan tries to be different and succeeds in doing so. I would be very surprised to hear what modern shonen you think has a better overall package than dandadan without also feeling repetitive.
Once again, at this stage, not much to add. I know it's a masterpiece; you know it's a masterpiece; anyone that seen it knows that "Dandadan" is a masterpiece. In today's anime industry, when is the last time anime dialogue is written in such a way that promotes intellectual stimulation and prompts the audience to ponder.
why the fuck is it so hard to name them properly 01, 02 etc. so the the automatic tracker would work so tired of this retarded absolute numbering they use...
