[archive.org mirror](https://archive.org/details/sakura-taisen-09-tv-version-480p-dvd-remux) DVD remux of the TV broadcast version of episode 9 from the Sakura Wars 2006 limited edition DVD, which is the *only* home release that contains the episode. huge thanks to Bikko@U2 for uploading the DVDISO - to our knowledge, nobody has ever ripped this DVD before on the internet. [A-F's](https://nyaa.si/view/1558719) english subs OCRed and restyled. outside of a few minor grammatical changes, and omitting a few messages from that era of fansubbing (i.e. the warning about getting scammed if you paid for a copy of the episode), they are largely untouched. The original TV broadcast is almost like an entirely different episode, with entire scenes replaced, and even parts of the few scenes that remain were changed. > Episode 9 was too dark a story and over half of it was redone. The original version of the episode could only be obtained by taping it off air. It is very different from the later version.
