This is a V2 of `https://nyaa.si/view/2002218`. I once again forgot the fonts. Also fixed the subs track order. A small thing, but may as well.
Original Description:
Greeting everyone. It's been a bit. To be honest I needed a break from Encoding. It just would up taking a lot longer than planned.
Anyways we've finally got the Kankestuban for Perrine. It feels a bit silly releasing this given the movie exists, but whatever.
The encode on this was pretty straightforward. Mostly. There is some frame-blending, but it's not too bad. I attempted to fix it, but that introduced more issues than it solved so I gave up on it.
Dark did the usual. Put together the script, and TLd the new narration. Perevodildo did QC.
We have a couple project in the works right now. Including something a bit different.

Welcome back to the Perrine Kanketsu Ban.
Like the other Kanketsu Bans, this one was shown as a two-part TV special in 2001. It recaps the second half of the TV show, much like the movie, but makes no changes to the actual dialogue and is just a recut, bar the new narration pieces before and after the episodes. The story is very much squeezed together, and most side plots cut out. Can’t say I’m a big fan of it.
The script was relatively smooth sailing. The new narration is somewhat wooden, but didn’t prove a large challenge, and there were a handful of changes to the script to fix issues that made it into the TV batch, and a continuity issue introduced by the massive cuts. I’m not a big fan of the RAW, I think it looks even worse than the DVD of the TV series, but there’s nothing we can do about that.
In other news, a Japanese BD for Perrine has been announced for October of this year, and with a bit of luck it should be uncropped 4:3 (The Dog of Flanders BD that recently released was), so you may well see another batch for the TV show in the not too distant future. In either case, we have multiple more WMT projects cooking in the background, and I can’t wait for them to come to fruition. Oh, and that thing that’s a bit different…
