whats up with the subs? there are a bunch of random junk left in
doesn't any of these idiots check the subs before releasing? SubsPlease, Erai-raws, Toonshub - all have the same garbage Precure-something subs in ep 1143
mumitroll doesn't understand what a automated release is.
automated garbage, you mean? when I did fansubs, I used to translate and sub by hand. and yeah it was leagues better than the trash they do now
🤔🤔🤔
The blame here lies with either CR or Toei. They messed up the script. SubsPlease, Erai etc..., they all just took the script as-is.
mumitroll is a dumbass
crunchyfags are middleman garbage as well, obviously (and they don't do a good job of that either). Toei not so much. but that doesn't mean these so-called fansub groups have to be appreciated for mindlessly regurgitating slop (and completely wrong slop, at that). and repeatedly, too, it's far from being the first time I see this. it'd literally take me 15 minutes with Claude Code to write an automated checker that would detect that the sub track they use is completely wrong for the audio. but they apparently can't do even that. @EthanSucksAss your name says it all, chump.
# 🤔🤔🤔
You know, mumitroll is absolutely right. These so-called "fansub groups" that we have nowadays are so bad they can't even spend 15 minutes to vibe-code a script that checks if the CR subs are correct and does the whole transcription → translation → timing → typesetting process automatically in case they aren't in order to ensure that the shared file is a proper release and is still available within a couple minutes of it being released in CR. Also by using the power of AI you'd pretty much get a 100% flawless script that will never do a single mistake so no need for any kind of QC at all. Can't believe how no one has done something so easy and obvious yet — it's almost surreal. This isn't just some random group of unpaid volunteers failing at doing charity work in a most unprofessional way — this is a pathetic bunch of absolute noobs that can't even plan for every single contingency... 🤦🤦🤦
Mumitroll is indeed a troll.
