Restyled script . Inserted styled OP & ED from [Kirinashi] in later episodes . Created styled OP & ED for EP 14-24 . Created chapters --- **Synopsis** After witnessing his mother's death at a young age, Uryuu Kamihate grew up disillusioned with the gods, dismissing faith in them as utter nonsense. Due to his beliefs, he aims to become a doctor, spending most of his time studying to enter the prestigious Kyoto University. To further his studies, Uryuu searches for a new place to take him in and get away from the noisy environment of the orphanage where he grew up. Chidori Amagami, head priest of the Amagami Shrine, allows him to stay at the Amagami residence. However, Uryuu has to live there with Chidori's three granddaughters—Yae, Yuna, and Asahi—who serve as shrine maidens. Moreover, Chidori has another condition for Uryuu: he has to marry one of the sisters to ensure the shrine's future and one day inherit it. But with Uryuu's goals and outlook naturally clashing against the sisters' beliefs, this already daunting ordeal seems outright impossible. ![](https://b.l3n.co/P1iTTz.png) --- **Language Options** Included are two scripts that that do the following (Windows/Linux): 1. **@Moses35i** There wont. I am again getting my feet wet with AV1. There are a couple projects in progress (waiting for more volumes) for which HEVC has been used which will be completed with that codec. Havent made up my mind completely if I switch over fully.
Aaah too bad... Thanks for your information
Zombie NeoAV1 came back from the dead. Should've let the dead rest in peace
The AV1 council approves of this decision

AV1 is the anime codec now, just like Opus (even HEVC peeps are switching to Opus). If your device can't play AV1... it's time to upgrade that 15 year old PC / 5 year old cell phone with the wonky battery life.
@nph Most 4 year old phones and tablets can't play AV1 smoothly, especially during high action scenes, due to a lack of Hardware decoder. Mid range 2-3 year old phones and tablets too.

**@altrivia** Heh you remember, old man? ![](https://i1.wp.com/i.lensdump.com/i/kdNYzQ.gif)
[@LordGrim9987](https://nyaa.si/view/2023297#com-9) BS. Phones released ESPECIALLY in the last 4 years will not have trouble playing any of these AV1 files as long as your media player is up-to-date and not some crap like MX Player.
@NekoTrix do you have any video player you recommend on android for AV1 files? VLC has been the only the one I've had the least trouble wit so far, but I'm curious if there are better
I typically would never recommend VLC on a PC because of how incompetent it still is at color and subtitles rendition, on top of having a sharpening filter on by default, but the mobile app is less broken and not the worst option. Obviously, if you can bear the minimalistic UI, MPV Android is the most performant player.
@NekoTrix Senseless. Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, Qualcomm's flagship SoC from 2022 didn't have AV1 hardware decoders. Many mid-range (1000 series) Exynos ones from 2 years ago also don't have AV1 hadware decoding. Being just be able to play and being able to play smoothly in any high-motion scene with lots of subtitles rendering at the same time from the ass file are two different things. Software decoding, in such scenarios causes the device to heat up and consume battery more, and lag a bit if you seek. And I am talking about playing using MPV Android. Basically playing AV1 files on 2 or more years older phones and tablets and even budget mobile devices from 2 years ago isn't as smooth as playing x265 videos (in MPV Android ofc).
Oh poor you, small lag when you seek... Honestly... Do you even realize how ridiculous you are being? You confuse having hardware decoding for being able to decode at all. You overestimate the power consumption and heat associated with software decoding relative to hardware decoding. You confuse the rendering of video and subtitles together, the latter of which is independant of the first. I was there when software AV1 decoding was a struggle *at all*, and observed first-hand the evolution of the software as it became far more than a pipe dream. I used to maintain a small github gist almost 4 years ago on the state of AV1 decoding on various chips and devices which I would link to my releases. My own devices went from being incapable of decoding 1080p without half the frames being dropped to it being rock steady now, I've talked about it at length on various places and everything is technically reproducible. My latest phone cost me 150€ new and it software decodes 1080p stuff just fine. My previous phone which also was largely less powerful than the 8+ G1 too. Even the one before is doing mostly fine. If it drops frames when the subtitles' TS goes wild, it happens regardless of the video format used. I wonder what you gain at all at being misleadingly negative about a freaking video standard. It is clear from your first comment you only have unwarranted hostility for it, that it was the case before, and that it will continue to be in the future, which is extremely childish. What I think is happening is that you're stuck on preconceptions from years ago and refuse to acknowledge that stuff advances, like it or not.
