God knows why, but the episode titles were cut out in this re-airing (maybe they thought the name of episode 6 was too much for modern audiences?). Still, I kept them in the subs where they were supposed to be. This rip also omits the original show's credits, so I moved the fansub credits to the title screen. ALSO, the video is borked and sometimes doesn't rewind properly, though it doesn't affect normal playback as far as I can tell. Otherwise, this HDTV rip is preferable, because it's a genuine remaster and not an upscale, although the video itself has the TV channel watermark burned into it, unfortunately, the sound is still shitty, and with the primitive 60s animation, there's not much to be gained from higher resolution scan in the first place. Episodes 4-5 were subbed previously by TSHS (translation by Tetris no Miko, edited by Nanto), so I OCRed that, TLCed and retimed to the new rip, the rest is a new translation. This was not a smooth translation: half the audio is muffled to hell and back, the other half is in the language so dated, probably not even all modern Japanese viewers would understand all of it. Of all our recent releases, this translation is the one with the shakiest foundation. The plan is to release the show fully in three installments whenever the editor is done with it.
