In case of the French subs, I also had to play with stretching to make it work. They're terribly timed to their own source to begin with... Oh, and I wasn't going to trim every individual french dub file and stretch them as well with how terrible the syncing is, so get another source if that's your thing. It's likely I missed some episodes or improperly resynced some subs, sorry in advance for that... Encode wise, I used an unreleased (and experimental) internal temporal filtering feature of SVT-AV1-Essential, I think it worked pretty well, I just wish I remembered about the FGS grain seeds before starting these encodes to make the patterns less obvious... Oh well, this will make a great excuse to revisit this show in the future, maybe with AV2 this time?
