## **Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack**  **Released: 1988 [Theatrical] Runtime: 120 min.** ### **Story** *In U.C. 0093, Char Aznable, having announced the revival of Neo Zeon, rebels against the Earth Federation government. He initiates an "Earth-cooling operation" to force humanity off the planet it has corrupted. The Londo Bell, an external Earth Federation unit led by Amuro Ray and Bright Noa, fights desperately to stop him but fails to prevent the asteroid 5th Luna from crashing into Lhasa, Tibet. Sensing this is not the full extent of the plan, Amuro deploys the ν Gundam. Meanwhile, Char acquires the fortress Axis through sham peace negotiations. As this unfolds, Hathaway Noa, now in space, is captivated by a girl named Quess Paraya, but she is swayed by Char's charisma and defects to Neo Zeon. With personal destinies and old rivalries intertwined, the conflict converges on Axis.
