_(Do read the Foreword+Background Trivia text that comes with the Subs!)_ In Pursuit of Revenge is a Chinese wuxia film from 1989, one of the many, purely Mainland produced wuxia films and TV of the time, and became a “blockbuster” in 1989. While not quite as refined and attention-grabbing as many Hong Kong productions of the time, the solid scripting and film-making principles makes up for it. An underrated gem, featuring the excellent sword choreography by the late great, actual real-life swordmaster Yu Chenghui, well known for his roles in Shaolin Temple and Yellow River Fighter. A must watch for any swordsmanship enthusiasts! Unfortunately, as with many 80s Chinese media, the available RAWs for this film leave much to be desired. Hence included are two versions of the film; the uncleaned film-print/home-release, and the retouched TV broadcast. _(TVRIP)_: A modern TV broadcast version. This has the most clarity, but the TV idents and overtly saturated colours and high contrast can be distracting. _(GRAINYRIP)_: An untouched and somewhat uncleaned film-print. This has more appropriate colour-tones but has some print errors as well as few audio cutting issues.
