The sixth full-length animated feature from Kyoufuku no Kagaku (幸福の科学, also known as The Institute for Research in Human Happiness, or colloquially, Happy Science). **This anime is religious propaganda.** *The Laws of Eternity* (*Eien no Hou*) is another spiritual voyage. Ryuta and his friends from the science club visit a museum exhibit on Thomas Edison. There they learn about one of his proposed inventions called the "spirit phone," which would enable communication with the dead. Later that day, they bump into a shaman who claims she has a message from Edison. In an instant, Ryuta is given the knowledge he needs to construct the device and decides to go for it, so beginning a spiritual adventure that takes him and his companions to the various realms of Heaven, and to Hell itself. The video and Japanese audio are from a QTS DVD rip. The English audio is from the Kyoufuku no Kagaku YouTube channel. The subtitles are from a previous version of unknown origin and are essentially dubtitles. The subtitles have been retimed and lightly edited, but the content is unchanged. This (and other QTS-remuxes of Happy Science anime movies) has been floating around BakaBT and other private trackers [for more than a decade](https://collectr.blogspot.com/2014/07/confession.html).
