After all those years, here's Koutetsu no Vendetta ova that was sponsored by now defunct studio Ankhama Japan. I tried my best to do some upscaling but my card, being an AMD, didn't have access to some better algorithm. Still looks way better than the low quality that was around~ The doujin (self-published) creators of the Koutetsu no Vendetta (Iron Vendetta) military robot anime project released a preview DVD at Tokyo's Comic Market 75 convention in 2009. Episode 0 ova was later sponsored by Ankama Japan before the dissolution of the production division, putting the project on hold indefinitely.

What is your video source? If it's DVD, then your upscale is against nyaa rules. The audio picture OVA is full of upscaling artifacts in any case. If you have ISOs or something like that, it'd be great if you could share that, or at least a version that isn't upscaled.

the source was an old badly encoded youtube rip. If i had access to the original dvd the quality would have been better but it's lost to history. Yes the audio picture is full or artifact but the original was way worse and it was taken from an old torrent here a long time ago. Here's the link if you think you have access to a better algo. https://nyaa.si/view/465413
The 2013 (2010?) one has a nicovideo upload by Ankama Japan. Presumably your YT rip was a re-upload of this (though idk where the OP comes from in your version). https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/so20154670 And the 2009 OVA is up for auction on Yahoo right now, so one could just make a new rip. In general, this isn't a question of algorithm. Anime should almost never be upscaled, particularly stuff with compression artifacts like this. The upscaling algo smudges over the details that are there while hallucinating details into the artifacts. Your versions look markedly worse than the originals, unfortunately (and the DVD one is still against nyaa rules, technically).
