Horus Prince of the Sun from The Collected Works of Director Isao Takahata / VWBS-8214
This release contains decrypted MGVC (Master Grade Video Coding) enhancement layer under the KDM folder.
Each ISO can be played back by Panasonic devices even in decrypted form, or compatible playback tools can decode a 12-bit 4:2:0 output.

Due to how files are stored, an ISO is required to keep the virtual sector mapping on the .extif MVC stream without blowing up the size.

Playback programs can use an H.264 MVC decoder and merge the planes according to [Patent US9392246B2](https://patents.google.com/patent/US9392246B2/en) or [Patent JP5914888B2](https://patents.google.com/patent/JP5914888B2/en) to get 12-bit 4:2:0 output.

I hope you get the Ghibli ga Ippai Directors box set. It has an updated MGVC disc for Arrietty, and also Ghiblies episode 1.
For other Ghibli MGVC titles, there's also The Red Turtle's standalone, where Disc 2 contains (technically not anime) director Michael Dudok de Wit's short films in MGVC.
It's on its way! I found it was missing from most online rips.
Yeah, others are decrypting. Actually doing The Red Turtle now, but will get uploaded later on. My Panasonic player setup for decryption does like 800-1100KB/s decryption speeds so it kinda takes a while to get all these releases through it.
There are also some non-anime MGVC titles like the John Wick films and La La Land. I wonder how you would do them, especially since the Japanese BDs of the John Wick films have DTS Headphone:X mixes that I find interesting.
Sherlock Hound: The Movie would also be great to preserve, as that film is not included on the Hayao Miyazaki box set, unfortunately. Same with the bonus discs for the Miyazaki and Takahata box sets and the Ghibli ga Ippai Special short collection Blu-ray. There might be more MGVC Ghibli titles I'm missing.
I don't touch anything outside of the KDM folders, so the rest is kept. Normal tooling for extracting everything else can be used, the video track requires special handling and decoding due to MGVC. I'm going through all listed on the [RELEASES.md](https://git.gammaspectra.live/WeebDataHoarder/pana-mgvc/src/branch/master/RELEASES.md) tracker that I can find, not all have MGVC, some are duplicate encodes, and some of the specials I'm just doing later.
If you have any specific missing ISO on usual PT, I would be interested.
Probably the non-anime related ones will end up on other places, not Nyaa.
Yeah. That's awesome. Thank you. I think both the standalone and box set MGVC ISOs need preservation for Ghibli. And for The Red Turtle, the second disc has The Collected Works of Michael Dudok de Wit, which is MGVC. The Ghibli ga Ippai Special Short Short disc is also missing here. I made my own fork doing corrections to the Ghibli/Touchstone stuff. But I still need to do more complex editing to it.
I have more information on the Studio Ghibli/Disney titles if I can edit the RELEASES.md tracker.
Feel free to make a pull request, or join IRC with info (poke my user there). It's less about adding information and more adding missing catalog entries.
