**[CenturyZeta] subs presents:**
An English translation of the first episode of "BLACK TORCH" [MAL](https://myanimelist.net/anime/61169/Black_Torch)
The official subtitles from CR were really bad, so I decided to translate the episode myself from scratch.
Will do the rest of the episodes too as they come out. They will likely come out 1-2 days later than the CR version.
Any feedback is welcome. I stop seeding when I go to sleep so seeders are appreciated too.
**I always include honourifics and use the proper Japanese name order.**
There is no transliteration or translation for the opening yet because I'm waiting for the official Japanese lyrics to
be released for that song. The ED does have both though.
Btw, the font I'm using right now might change in future releases, though I'm not sure
what I want to change it to.

**[@Century-Coloured-Zeta](https://nyaa.si/user/Century-Coloured-Zeta)** [here](https://kaleido-subs.github.io/handbook/technical/dialogue-styling) you go. and [here](https://kaleido-subs.github.io/handbook/technical/img/dialogue-styling/common-dialogue-fonts.png)'s a showcase of various dialogue fonts previously used by other fansubbing groups.
To steal a style from the "Styles used by various groups" section, copy the code block line below, open your .ass file with a text editor, paste the line in the "[V4+ Styles]" section and hit Ctrl+S to save. Now when you open your subtitle file in Aegisub, it will have that style loaded. You can "Copy to storage" the style to easily paste it into other files.
Thanks for doing this, I can't believe how bad the official subs are, the 3rd episode was the last straw for me (it's so bad it's almost unwatchable) I'm done with it. They're on the same level as dubtitles.
I'm guessing you're translating this by ear? because I haven't been able to find JP subs for this at all.
I was ready to watch it raw, and maybe miss around 85-98% of what's being said sometimes depending on the dialogue, the clarity of the spoken audio etc, as my listening comprehension still needs work, JP subs help fill those gaps for me, but I can't find any for this show (and only this show for some reason). But I'll guess this release will be a good excuse to rewatch each episode and fully enjoy it.
